Shooting Davie Florida in Davie, Florida: Deputies with the Broward Sheriff's Office Gang Task Force and VIPER Unit, along with a Plantation Police officer, shot and killed an armed man during a Gang Task Force investigation in Davie on Monday evening. The deceased was identified as Napolian Marquez Powell, 27, of Lauderhill. Detectives had been searching for Powell just before the shooting, according to the Sheriff's Office.
