Car Crash Pismo Beach California in Pismo Beach, California: A 27-year-old Santa Maria esthetician, Gary Noe Arias, was killed late on June 23, 2026, in a crash on southbound Highway 101 just south of San Luis Bay Drive near Pismo Beach. Arias was driving a 2020 Toyota Tacoma that left the road and overturned for unknown reasons. A 1991 BMW 535i traveling southbound at 65 mph struck the overturned truck; the 73-year-old BMW driver suffered minor to moderate injuries. Arias was pronounced dead at the scene. The California Highway Patrol said the BMW driver showed no signs of impairment and that it was unknown whether alcohol or drugs were a factor for the deceased driver. The crash remained under investigation.
