Drowning Southern Trinity California in southern Trinity, California: A 25-year-old Cottonwood man, identified as Dylan Malcolme Harley Asbury, died after a small fishing boat carrying three people capsized near the Boy Scout Campground at Ruth Lake in southern Trinity County. Deputies received a 911 call around 1:30 a.m. on June 27 reporting a missing person. A multi-agency search and recovery operation involving Trinity County Search and Rescue, the Trinity County Sheriff's Office, and the Shasta County Sheriff's Office Dive Team spanned two days before divers located and recovered the missing man from the lake on June 28.
