Drowning Oregon Today in Oregon: A 21-year-old man identified as Truong drowned at Tamolitch Falls, also known as Blue Pool, in Linn County, Oregon, after jumping into the water on June 26, 2026. Around 8:47 p.m., a 911 call reported that a man had jumped into the pool and could not get out. Despite efforts by bystanders and first responders from the Linn County Sheriff's Office, Lane County Sheriff's Office, and Upper McKenzie Rural Fire, he did not survive.
