Drowning Gresham Oregon in Gresham, Oregon: A 21-year-old Kansas man identified as Kenny Truong died after drowning at Tamolitch Falls, commonly known as Blue Pool, in Linn County, Oregon. According to the Linn County Sheriff's Office, dispatchers received a 911 call at 8:47 p.m. on June 26 reporting a man had jumped into the water at Blue Pool, located off Highway 126, and was unable to get back out. Investigators said Truong was visiting the area with friends when he decided to jump into the pool. Authorities warned that the pool is surrounded by cliffs 10 to 60 feet high and the water averages 37 degrees Fahrenheit, with little to no cell phone service in the remote location.
