Motorcycle Crash California Today in California: A 21-year-old Earlimart man was killed in a motorcycle crash in Kern County just before 9:15 p.m. Sunday. The California Highway Patrol says he was riding his motorcycle west on Pond Road when a woman driving a Nissan made a left-hand turn directly into his path at the intersection of Stradley Avenue and Pond Road. Emergency personnel pronounced him dead at the scene. It was not known if drugs or alcohol were factors. The Nissan driver and her passenger sustained minor injuries.
