Boating Accident Louisiana Today in Louisiana: A 19-year-old woman was tubing on the Tchefuncte River in St. Tammany Parish over the weekend when she fell into the water and her hand became trapped in the handle of a tube, breaking her arm. Her family was unable to safely get her back into their boat and called for help. Deputies from the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office Marine Division responded and transported her to the Fairview Riverside State Park Boat Launch, where she was then taken to a hospital for treatment. The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident.
