Car Crash Ohio Today in Ohio: An 18-year-old New Philadelphia man was killed Sunday evening in a two-vehicle crash in Tuscarawas County, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol. The crash occurred at approximately 7:53 p.m. June 28 at the intersection of County Road 103/North Orchard Road and Township Road 1277/Northwood Avenue in Lawrence Township. A 2021 Nissan Altima driven by Ridge Reichman, 18, of New Philadelphia, was traveling north on Township Road 1277 when it failed to yield at a stop sign and was struck on the driver's side by a 2019 Ram 1500 driven by Skylar Nelson, 27, of Bolivar, who was traveling east on County Road 103. Reichman was transported to Mercy Hospital, where he was pronounced dead; Nelson and a pickup truck passenger were wearing seat belts and were not injured. The Ohio State Highway Patrol said alcohol is suspected to be a factor in the crash.
