Drowning Lewiston Maine in Lewiston, Maine: Siloé Irumva, an 18-year-old from Lewiston, was fishing with friends near the Gulf Island Dam on Switzerland Road in Lewiston, Maine, when he slipped on a rock while trying to free a fishing lure tangled in a tree branch and fell into the Androscoggin River around 7:30 PM Friday. He was swept downstream by the current. Game wardens, the Lewiston Police Department, and the Lewiston Fire Department searched by boat and on foot into the night before rescue crews recovered his body.
