Hit And Run Los Alamos California in Los Alamos, California: A wrong-way driver slammed head-on into a Chumash Casino tour bus on Highway 101 north of Los Alamos around 3:05 a.m. Both vehicles erupted in flames. The car driver was pronounced dead at the scene and has not been publicly identified. All 13 passengers and the bus driver, identified as Rema Alicia Padilla of Santa Maria, safely exited the bus before the fire intensified; passengers suffered minor to moderate injuries and several were transported to Marian Regional Hospital. The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash.
