A Colonie Ambulance traveling eastbound with a patient onboard was struck by a wrong-way driver. The ambulance driver and onboard paramedic were taken to Albany Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries; the patient was not injured and was transported by another ambulance for their original emergency. The wrong-way driver also sustained significant non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Albany Medical Center. State Police are investigating the crash.
