Car Crash New York Today in New York: Three people were injured on Saturday evening when a wrong-way car struck an eastbound Colonie EMS ambulance on the I-90 Exit 6 off-ramp in Albany, according to New York State Police. The ambulance was en route to Albany Medical Center with a patient when it was hit by the wrong-way driver. The ambulance driver and onboard paramedic were taken to Albany Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, while the onboard patient was uninjured in the crash and transported by another ambulance for their original medical emergency. The wrong-way driver was also taken to Albany Medical Center with significant but non-life-threatening injuries.
