Woman killed in roommate struggle over gun in Las Vegas home

Shooting Las Vegas Nevada in Las Vegas, Nevada: A woman in her mid-50s was fatally shot Saturday morning inside a home on Plumas Court in Las Vegas after a verbal argument with her roommate escalated into a struggle over a firearm, according to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. Officers were called about 9:45 a.m. after a man told 911 his roommate had been shot. Police found the woman with a gunshot wound and she was pronounced dead at the scene. The man who called 911 was detained and was cooperating with investigators as detectives continued reviewing evidence.
