Shooting California Today in California: Two men were found dead in Colusa County on Friday evening after deputies responded to a report of a deceased person around 4:53 p.m. The men, identified as Jason Edward Carr, 48, of Dunnigan, and Richard Leon Mathies Jr., 36, of Yolo County, had gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene. The Colusa County Sheriff's Office is investigating the deaths as a double homicide and is asking anyone who may have been traveling on or near Sills Road on Thursday or Friday to contact investigators.
