Car Crash Columbus Ohio in Columbus, Ohio: Two people died in an early-morning crash involving a Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) bus on Columbus' East Side. Around 12:30 a.m., a COTA bus heading east on Mock Road was turning left into the northbound lanes of Sunbury Road when a black Audi Q5 heading south on Sunbury Road entered the intersection. Police said the bus had the green light to turn left and the Audi struck the bus. The driver and front-seat passenger of the Audi died at the scene. The COTA bus driver was transported to OhioHealth Grant Medical Center for treatment of injuries, and the lone bus passenger was treated at the scene by paramedics. The cause of the crash remains under Columbus police investigation.
