Car Crash Grand Rapids Minnesota in Grand Rapids, Minnesota: On Sunday at approximately 12:28 p.m., a southbound Lexus RX and a northbound Ford Explorer collided on Highway 169 near Victory Lane, south of Grand Rapids, Minnesota. Both drivers — McKenna Joy Christiansen, 24, of Luck, Wisconsin, and Carole Rose Wiss, 83, of Grand Rapids — were pronounced dead at the scene. Both were wearing seatbelts. The Minnesota State Patrol, Itasca County Sheriff's Office, Grand Rapids Police Department, Grand Rapids Fire Department, Cohasset Fire Department, North Memorial Health Ambulance, and Minnesota Department of Transportation responded.
