Vehicle Fire Beaver Utah in Beaver, Utah: Three wildland firefighters were killed on Saturday, June 27, 2026, while responding to the Knowles and Gore fires along the Colorado-Utah border as part of an interagency response. Two additional crew members were injured and transported to a hospital. The U.S. Wildland Fire Service announced the deaths at 12:22 a.m. Sunday, and Utah Gov. Spencer Cox asked the public to pray for the families of those killed and injured.
