Hit And Run Carpentersville Illinois in Carpentersville, Illinois: Three people were hospitalized after being struck by a hit-and-run driver near Carpentersville Middle School late Saturday night around 11:10 p.m. Police responding to the scene at 100 Cleveland Ave. found three pedestrians who had been hit by a vehicle that fled the scene. Two victims were released from the hospital while one remained hospitalized with life-threatening injuries. The Kane County Accident Reconstruction Team and Kane County Major Crimes Task Force Crime Scene Unit were assisting Carpentersville Police with the investigation.
