Car Crash Alabama Today in Alabama: A 16-year-old state champion wrestler, Jeremy "Ryan" Lambert, was killed in a rural single-vehicle crash in Calhoun County, Alabama. According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Lambert was driving a 2007 Jeep Cherokee around 10 p.m. on Vineyard Road near Lowimoore Road, about 6 miles east of Ohatchee, when the SUV struck an embankment and overturned. Investigators said he was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later died from his injuries. ALEA's Highway Patrol Division is continuing to investigate the crash.
