Car Crash Modesto California in Modesto, California: A 57-year-old Modesto man driving a 2026 Porsche coupe suspected of speeding crashed into the rear of a Ram pickup truck while westbound on Ladd Road near Tully Road around 9:30 p.m. Saturday. The pickup truck driver lost control, overturned off the roadway, and the Porsche continued on Ladd Road before striking an eastbound Mercedes SUV head-on. The Porsche driver died at the scene, while a Porsche passenger and the Mercedes driver and her passenger were seriously injured and hospitalized. CHP investigators said alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
