Shooting Houston Texas in Houston, Texas: A man was shot in the chest and killed by his roommate at a home on Vassar Street in the University Place neighborhood of Houston. Houston Police were called to the home near the Southwest Freeway and Mandell Street at about 11:55 p.m. Saturday and found the victim, who was pronounced deceased at the scene. Police said the suspect and victim were friends who lived together at the home.
