Hit And Run Pennsylvania Today in Pennsylvania: A Philadelphia Police officer was struck by a car during a traffic stop in Strawberry Mansion on Friday night. Officers had attempted to stop a vehicle over a report of a person with a gun at 19th and Norris streets. The suspect sped away, hitting two police cruisers and an officer standing on the street. The struck officer suffered serious injuries but was released from the hospital Saturday; a second officer was treated for bruises and cuts.
