Pedestrian Hit New Orleans Louisiana in New Orleans, Louisiana: A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a pickup truck in Central City, New Orleans, according to the New Orleans Police Department. Officers responding to a traffic accident report found the man dead at the intersection of Earhart Boulevard and Magnolia Street shortly before 11 p.m. on Saturday. NOPD said the victim was lying on the ground and was struck after the truck driver turned left into an auxiliary maintenance lane. The driver remained on scene and was arrested.
