Car Crash Florida Today in Florida: A 45-year-old Parkland woman was killed and a 25-year-old Cape Coral man was seriously injured in a head-on collision on Alligator Alley near Mile Marker 36 on Friday night around 10 p.m., according to Florida Highway Patrol. The woman was driving a 2020 Tesla Model 3 westbound in the eastbound lanes when it struck the front-left side of a 2026 BMW X3 driven by the Cape Coral man. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, and the man was transported to a hospital with serious injuries. The crash remains under investigation by FHP.
