Car Crash Wanatah Indiana in Wanatah, Indiana: A two-vehicle head-on collision occurred before 10:30 p.m. on June 27 in the 200 South block of Main Street in Wanatah, LaPorte County, Indiana. A northbound 1998 Mazda pickup truck driven by 43-year-old Allyn Brown collided with a southbound 2016 GMC pickup truck driven by a 65-year-old man; the GMC went off the roadway and crashed into a residence. Brown was pronounced dead at the scene, while the GMC driver and his adult passenger were treated for minor injuries. Police said alcohol is believed to be a factor, with toxicology results pending.
