Car Crash South Bend Indiana in South Bend, Indiana: On June 27, around 10:30 p.m., South Bend police responded to a single-vehicle crash near McKinley and Manchester in South Bend. A vehicle struck a parked, unoccupied tow truck in a parking lot. The passenger suffered serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was taken to the hospital for evaluation and was later arrested and transported to the St. Joseph County Jail in connection with the crash. The St. Joseph County FACT Team is continuing to investigate.
