Shooting Alabama Today in Alabama: Montgomery police are investigating a shooting in the 1500 block of Westcott Street in West Montgomery that left one adult male dead and an adult female injured. Officers arriving on scene located the male victim with fatal gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead at the scene. The female victim sustained non-life-threatening gunshot wounds and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
