Police Pursuit Crash Eddyville Kentucky in Eddyville, Kentucky: A 55-year-old Nashville man was arrested after leading law enforcement on a multi-road pursuit that ended with his vehicle in a pond in Lyon County, Kentucky. Deputies were called to assist a Kentucky State Police trooper at a two-vehicle injury crash on I-24 near the 53-mile marker, where one driver fled the scene. The suspect refused to stop, exited at Exit 40, headed east into Eddyville, and continued along U.S. Route 62 before turning onto Goodman Road, nearly hitting a deputy's cruiser, tearing through a residential yard, and driving into a pond. Richard Rogers faces charges including first-degree fleeing and evading police, wanton endangerment, DUI, leaving the scene of an accident, and drug possession, and was lodged in the Crittenden County Detention Center.
