Police Pursuit Crash Eddyville Kentucky in Eddyville, Kentucky: A 55-year-old Nashville man, Richard Rogers, was arrested after leading law enforcement on a multi-road pursuit Saturday afternoon that ended with his vehicle in a pond in Lyon County. The chase began when a Kentucky State Police trooper tried to stop Rogers as a suspect in a two-vehicle injury crash on I-24 near the 53-mile marker. Rogers refused to stop, exited at Exit 40, drove through Eddyville, then along U.S. Route 62 before turning onto Goodman Road, nearly striking a deputy's cruiser, leaving the roadway, tearing through a residential yard, and driving into a pond. Rogers faces charges including first-degree fleeing and evading, wanton endangerment, DUI, leaving the scene of an accident, and drug possession, and was lodged in the Crittenden County Detention Center.
