Car Crash Farmington Connecticut in Farmington, Connecticut: A 67-year-old New Britain man riding a motorcycle suffered a serious head injury in a crash on Route 4 (Collinsville Road) near River Road in Farmington on Sunday afternoon. Police say the motorcycle struck a slowing or stopped vehicle from behind at about 4:08 p.m. The motorcycle operator was not wearing a helmet and was transported by Life Star helicopter to Hartford Hospital. The two occupants of the vehicle were taken by ambulance to hospitals for evaluation of minor injuries. The North Central Municipal Accident Reconstruction Squad is investigating.
