Motorcycle crash on US 61 in Lee County sends two to hospit…

Motorcycle Crash Iowa Today in Iowa: Two people were injured in a motorcycle crash in Lee County, Iowa on Saturday around 11:18 p.m. Todd Helmick, 36, of Argyle, Iowa was driving a motorcycle southbound on US 61, just north of 185th Street, when he lost control for unknown reasons and crashed, injuring himself and his passenger, Ashley Lundeen, 33, of West Burlington, Iowa. Both were flown to University of Iowa Hospitals for treatment. Iowa State Patrol, the Lee County Sheriff's Office, and Lee County Emergency Management responded, and the crash remains under investigation.
