Semi Truck Crash Wapakoneta Ohio in Wapakoneta, Ohio: A 48-year-old Michigan woman and an 11-year-old child were killed early Sunday on Interstate 75 just south of Wapakoneta in Pusheta Township, Auglaize County, Ohio, after a semi-truck struck their disabled SUV. According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the SUV driven by Holly Williams of Howell, Michigan, traveled off the left side of the interstate, struck a cable barrier, re-entered the roadway, and became disabled in the right lane. Passenger Jarnes Johnson exited the vehicle to push it off the roadway when a 2018 Freightliner commercial truck driven by Charles Pagel approached from behind and struck the SUV, pushing it into Johnson and causing him minor injuries. Williams and the juvenile were pronounced dead at the scene; the crash remains under investigation.
