Marked Tree police officer killed when driver fails to stop…

Car Crash Marked Tree Arkansas in Marked Tree, Arkansas: A 25-year-old Marked Tree Police Department officer was killed in a crash while on duty around 2:40 a.m. Sunday. According to a preliminary Arkansas State Police report, the officer was a passenger in a 2023 Dodge traveling east on Highway 14 when a northbound 1996 Mercury on Broadway Street failed to stop at a stop sign and struck the passenger side of the Dodge. The driver of the Dodge, a 22-year-old officer, and the driver of the Mercury, a 28-year-old man, were injured and taken to hospitals for treatment. The Arkansas State Police is investigating the crash.
