Marked Tree police officer killed in collision at Broadway…

Car Crash Marked Tree Arkansas in Marked Tree, Arkansas: On-duty Marked Tree Police Officer Trevor Howard, 25, was killed when his patrol vehicle collided with another vehicle at the intersection of Broadway and Nathan Streets in Marked Tree, Arkansas, around 2:50 a.m. The driver of the other vehicle, Kareem Jones, 28, was traveling north on Broadway/Highway 14 and failed to stop at a stop sign, striking the officers' Dodge Ram 1500 on the passenger side and causing it to overturn. Officer Anthony Johnson, 22, who was driving the patrol vehicle with Howard in the passenger seat, was transported to NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro with non-life-threatening injuries. Jones was airlifted to Regional One Health in Memphis with serious injuries. The crash is being investigated by Arkansas State Police.
