Shooting New York Today in New York: A man was shot in the head in Queens early Sunday and is in critical condition, according to NYPD. Officers responded to a 911 call of an assault around 1 a.m. near 104th Street and the Van Wyck Expressway service road. EMS located the victim near 106th Street and the Van Wyck Expressway service road. Two male suspects fled the scene on a scooter, and no suspect description has been released.
