Man killed in stabbing in Cold Spring, suspect in custody

Assault Cold Spring Minnesota in Cold Spring, Minnesota: One man was killed and another man was taken into custody following a stabbing on the night of June 27, 2026, in Cold Spring, Minnesota. Law enforcement was called to the 400 block of Eighth Avenue North just after 8:30 p.m. on a report of an assault. Lifesaving measures were attempted, but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
