Shooting Memphis Tennessee in Memphis, Tennessee: A man was critically injured in a shooting early Sunday morning in Southeast Memphis. Officers were called just after 4:15 a.m. to the 2800 block of Kirby Road near Quince Road for an aggravated assault involving a firearm, but no victim was found at the scene. While investigating, officers learned a gunshot victim had arrived at a nearby hospital, where a black sedan with two people was found at the emergency room entrance. The victim had been driven to the hospital after an apparent altercation in which he was shot, and was later transferred to a different hospital in critical condition. Witnesses told police they did not see the shooting, and the victim said he did not know who shot him.
