Shooting Memphis Tennessee in Memphis, Tennessee: A man was critically injured in a shooting Sunday morning in Southeast Memphis, Tennessee. When officers arrived, they did not find a victim at the scene but were told a gunshot victim had arrived at a nearby hospital. At the hospital, officers found a black sedan at the emergency room entrance with two people who had driven the victim there after an apparent altercation in which he was shot. The victim was later transferred to a different hospital in critical condition. Police said the victim briefly communicated with officers and indicated he did not know who shot him and did not report being in a confrontation.
