Car Crash Iowa Today in Iowa: A 17-year-old from Anita was driving a 2014 Chevrolet Equinox southbound on Brown Avenue in the 1600 block in rural Adair County at approximately 11:26 p.m. on Saturday when the SUV left the roadway to the right, entered a ditch, struck a culvert, and rolled onto its driver's side. All five occupants exited the vehicle and were transported by private vehicles to Cass County Memorial Hospital for treatment. A 17-year-old passenger from Lewis later died from their injuries and was transported to the State Medical Examiner's Office by Schmidt Family Funeral Home. The Iowa State Patrol is investigating the crash.
