Horse injured after trailer detaches from pickup on Highway…

Car Crash Auto Texas in auto, Texas: A horse was seriously injured in an auto accident on Highway 190 at the Jasper-Newton County line on Saturday evening shortly before 6:00. An early model GMC pickup truck was headed eastbound pulling a horse trailer when the tongue and hitch separated from the trailer, causing the trailer to travel across the highway and into the woods on the north side. The horse was rescued from the damaged trailer and treated by its owner and friends, who were seeking a veterinarian. There were no human injuries reported. State Troopers are investigating the accident.
