Semi Truck Crash Ohio Today in Ohio: A Ford Explorer driven by 48-year-old Holly Williams of Howell, Michigan, went off the left side of northbound Interstate 75 near milepost 108 in Pusheta Township, Auglaize County, struck the median cable, re-entered the roadway, and became disabled in the right lane around 4:07 a.m. Passenger James Johnson, 54, of Limestone, Tennessee, exited the vehicle and tried to push it off the road when a northbound Freightliner commercial truck struck the Explorer from behind, pushing it off the right side of the road and into Johnson. Williams and the 11-year-old child, both of Howell, Michigan, were pronounced dead at the scene, while Johnson was taken to Lima Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. The semi driver, Charles Pagel, was not injured, and Ohio State Highway Patrol said alcohol and drugs are not suspected factors; the crash remains under investigation.
