Haverhill man dies in head-on crash with wrong-way driver o…

Hit And Run Boston Massachusetts in Boston, Massachusetts: An 81-year-old wrong-way driver, Antone Carvalho of Somerset, struck a Chevrolet Cruze driven by a Haverhill man in his 20s head-on on Interstate 93 in Boston just before 11 p.m. Saturday. Two other vehicles—a Honda Odyssey and an Audi A4—crashed while attempting to avoid the wrong-way driver, and their occupants were taken to Boston-area hospitals. The Haverhill man died from his injuries. State Police said Carvalho will be issued a summons to appear in court at a later date.
