Car Crash Apple Valley California in Apple Valley, California: On June 27, 2026, at about 8:21 p.m., a two-vehicle crash occurred at the intersection of Wichita Road and Zuni Road in Apple Valley. A 25-year-old male driver of a 2022 Toyota Camry traveling north on Wichita Road failed to stop at a posted stop sign and broadsided a 2021 Nissan Altima driven by a 33-year-old woman who was traveling west on Zuni Road. The Camry driver was trapped as his vehicle caught fire, was extricated, and transported to a local hospital; two occupants of the Altima were transported to a trauma center. The Altima driver sustained major injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department Major Accident Investigative Team is investigating.
