Car Crash Las Vegas Nevada in Las Vegas, Nevada: A 2011 Infiniti G sedan driven by Raudel Luna, 24, was traveling westbound on Lake Mead Boulevard at a high rate of speed when it struck the passenger side of a 2017 Nissan Pathfinder that was making a left turn onto northbound Walnut Road on a flashing yellow arrow. The crash occurred around 1:22 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of East Lake Mead Boulevard and North Walnut Road in the east Las Vegas valley, sending both vehicles into the northwest corner of the intersection and scattering debris that struck an unoccupied parked 1998 Mercury Grand Marquis. All five occupants were transported to University Medical Center's Trauma Center, and Luna was booked in absentia into the Clark County Detention Center on charges of reckless driving and child abuse. The crash remains under investigation by Metro's Collision Investigation Section.
