Boater seriously injured and arrested after pontoon crashes…
Car Crash Late-Night Missouri in Late-Night, Missouri: A 28-year-old Camdenton man operating a 2024 Flagship pontoon crashed into a dock walkway at the 17.5 Mile Marker on Lake of the Ozarks at approximately 1:24 a.m. on Saturday, June 27. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the boater failed to keep lookout and sustained serious injuries, and was transported to Lake Regional Hospital for treatment. The boater, identified as Shawn O'Connor, was arrested on suspicion of boating while intoxicated (alcohol), boating while intoxicated (drugs), and violating no-wake laws within 100 feet of a dock, but was released for medical treatment. No other injuries were reported.
