Boat fire south of Duck Island in Long Island Sound prompts…

Car Crash Westbrook Connecticut in Westbrook, Connecticut: A 42-foot boat caught fire south of Duck Island in Long Island Sound on Sunday afternoon, with light smoke reported coming from the vessel. A Clinton firefighter who happened to be in the area on his own boat safely removed everyone from the burning vessel. The Clinton Volunteer Fire Department responded along with Clinton Police, Westbrook Fire, Westbrook Police, Old Saybrook Fire, and Old Saybrook Police. The cause of the fire was not reported.
