Car Crash Florida Today in Florida: A 65-year-old Villager driving a Subaru SUV southbound on State Road 39 in Hillsborough County attempted a risky pass of an uninvolved vehicle at 12:25 p.m. Saturday and entered the path of an oncoming Chrysler minivan, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The Villager was pronounced dead at the scene. The 53-year-old Riverview man driving the Chrysler minivan was transported to an area hospital, where he later died from his injuries. A 71-year-old Villager passenger in the Subaru suffered serious injuries and was transported to a hospital. The 64-year-old Webster man driving a Ford F-250 pickup towing a horse trailer and two female passengers from Brooksville suffered minor injuries and were not transported.
