Vehicle Fire North Lauderdale Florida in North Lauderdale, Florida: A house fire in the 8000 block of Southwest Eighth Court in North Lauderdale on June 20 killed a 6-year-old girl, Neissa Dilligence, and her grandmother. Eight people were inside the home when flames consumed it; neighbors rushed to help. Neissa was pulled out and placed on a ventilator at a hospital but died two days later. A vigil was held a week after the fire, and the cause remains under investigation.
