Ebike Crash Spirit Lake Idaho in Spirit Lake, Idaho: A 35-year-old man from Spirit Lake, Idaho was killed in an e-bike crash on State Highway 41 near milepost 20, less than one mile outside Spirit Lake in Bonner County. Idaho State Police said the crash occurred just after 8:30 p.m. on Friday, June 26, when the rider lost control on the right shoulder and was thrown from the electrically assisted bicycle. Emergency responders administered life-saving efforts, but the man died from his injuries. He was wearing a motorcycle-style helmet at the time. The highway was blocked for about three hours. Police did not release his name on Saturday.
