Pedestrian Hit Hit-And-Run Pedestrian Connecticut in hit-and-run pedestrian, Connecticut: Keyshla M., a 31-year-old Rhode Island native and mother of three, was killed in a hit-and-run pedestrian crash in Hartford, Connecticut. Hartford Police officers responded to the area of Ledyard Street, south of Wawarme Avenue, at approximately 3:45 a.m. Saturday after a report of a serious motor vehicle versus pedestrian crash. Officers found the female pedestrian in the roadway suffering from life-threatening injuries; she was transported by EMS to an area hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The involved vehicle, an unknown make and model, fled the scene southbound after striking the pedestrian, and Hartford Police Crime Scene Division detectives have assumed the investigation. An online GoFundMe fundraiser has been created in her memory.
